EDP was born in 1996 as a group consisting of 5 members recognized as Shadow, whose whereabouts are currently unknown, the count better known as Delaia Rotts from the city of Medellin, Turkish Box the famous Smith of All Cups, Duende and Mafia who have not left the name and those who were the main managers of this idea. In 1998, E.D.P was only conformed as Duende and Mafia, releasing their first demo entitled The Great Gift of the Mystery, a song that played on the stations that gave space to Rap at that time in the city of Santiago de Cali.

In 2002, E.D.P became known to the Colombian scene as a representative group of the Cauca Valley in the park rap festival. In 2007, E.D.P merged with Matanza Dance, marking the history of the Colombian HIP-HOP with the compact called Abismo Del Tiempo.
