However, I am grateful to have that experience. I have a better understanding of what veterans have done today than I did before I joined the military. We come from all over the world and we bring unique perspectives into the armed forces. We don't judge each other for why or how we joined, nor do we distinguish each other based on the reasons for leaving the service. We only care about what we accomplished and learned together. I do not have any regrets. Cheers to those who still choose to join the military. I know it's not always easy, but what you gain in the end is worth it.
