They will then discuss the main ideas and key points with their jigsaw groups. In our science lesson plan, one of our language objectives is students will discuss, listen, and collaborate with their group members to design a presentation on their findings using a platform of their choice. The comprehension strategy we implemented while students analyze these articles is questions that ask students to predict (i.e., What other ways could this perspective be interpreted as in comparison to your groups’ consensus? Predict what you think would have happened if the media did not play a role in these events).
