HOW HAS YOUR CITY CHANGED? COMPARE NOW TO 100 OR 50 YEARS AGO.

100 years ago in Tokyo there were no cars, no electricity, no Tokyo Tower, and there was no Tokyo Skytree. Now there is all of those things. The population of Japan 100 years ago was 44 million people, and now it is 127 million. The Japanese also had a unique way of measuring called Japanese RI and CHŌ. The Japanese now use the Metric system. Before the world wars Japan didn't eat any western food except for some of the larger towns and sea-side resorts no-one knew what meat, bread and other European foods were. The Japanese language Japanese language has also changed a lot over the last 100 years.

People move to Japan because it is easy to find a job there, this means that people can do what they love for a job occupation. There are major hospitals, so people can be better looked after is they are are in an accident or sick or injured. Tokyo also has a low crime rate so you are less likely to get robbed, hurt, and abused. Many museums and theatres so there is always something interesting to go and visit. Also great night life, so no matter what age you are you can go out and enjoy the view and have a fun evening/night.

People leave Tokyo because it is quite expensive to live in Tokyo, so people with a smaller budget would struggle a little bit. Overcrowding is a big problem, so the quality of life isn't as good and the crowds are always very large. Pollution is a big problem, so it is easier to get sick or an infection (this is why people wear face masks).

An urban problem in Tokyo is over crowding, there are to many people. what I would do to solve this problem would be to spread the population out, so make the city bigger. Or I would move half of the people to less crowded cities that have the potential to hold more people and possibly make more than one capital.
