To me this was a genuine pitch, and in the financial world, this is definitely a pitch that would set the applicant apart from the rest. I think that if there was anything to add, I would add more about the applicant's experiences related to the position that they are applying for. However, we were told to evaluate these from the viewpoint of someone actually looking to hire an individual. This elevator pitch told me nothing about the job that he was applying for or any background information about the individual themselves. Also, no one would come prepared with props when interviewing for a job, or casually running into someone of importance. He was very cocky. I know this was an assignment for class, I could classify this when Professor Conell said she has received videos of people with their shirts off. I viewed this as childish. They had great confidence, as well as told you why they thought they were the best fit for the job. I enjoyed the humor because it added a flavor to the speech that you usually don't get, making it unique. If it wasn't for the ending I almost would have said hire, but saying you were already hired in the end took away from the whole pitch and really made it seem like you were not serious. I think he brings something interesting to the table. He is very confident and sells himself well.  His props and details about his skills were humorous, but I think it fit nicely. It may of been a little too humorous, but overall I think he good reasoning as to why he is a good fit. This very much resembles a comedian act, and that is not what a serious employer will be looking for.
