         <description><![CDATA[<div>At exactly 11:47 local time on Wednesday, the Chicago Cubs won the World Series on November 2, 2016<br>In 108 years ago was last time the cubs won a world series<br>The team had a 9 1/2-game lead in mid-August, but then started losing game after game<br>also they came back from a 3-1 lead and won by 8-7 in  Cleveland, Ohio<br>The last time they won a world series was from 1908 <br> Fans packed into bars to watch the games <br>The team had a 9 1/2-game lead in mid-August, but then started losing game after game<br>Fans watched in horror as the Cubs fell apart in the rest of the game<br>There were other playoff losses but none as painful as in 2003<br>Mets not only caught them but ended up winning the National League East by 8 games.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
