Since Tim Walberg is running for the republican party, he is more likely to win in a republican majority state. One thing that might affect his election, is the contributions to his campaign. Gretchen Driskell is raising more funds and contributions to her campaign which aids her in becoming well-known and heard in the state.

Though he is the incumbent, that does not always guarantee he will win and Gretchen can take the lead which would have Michigan have one more Democratic seat in the House with 5 instead of 4.
