It creates a space for students to use their resources and engage in the class as it becomes more of a common concept in schools. It also helps connect the students to their society they are growing up in. Furthermore, it also helps create opportunities to asses and measure students learning. In the clinical I have completed so far, each classroom has allowed students to use iPads and a digital system to use for learning. I have noticed that teachers tend to rely on these systems when having students turn in assignments. I think this is a great idea because it ties well into the culture of the students and their daily lives by incorporating their use of technology.  I also think that using connected learning can be helpful in this sense because students are able to collaborate from afar. This has been something I noticed as well. Whether it is peer editing from home, or joining the class in a zoom call, I think this idea of connected learning really helps maintain the class and keeps them connected.

This multimodal system is pretty easy to navigate, organized, and well laid out. I think this is a great technology tool that could be used in my future classroom. I think it is a great way to keep responses organized, and may help share a voice for students who may be nervous to speak up in class.
