1. Lack of class unity e.g. those who take G3 subjects may associate with one another more, leaving the G2 students out. This will divide the class into those who take G2 subjects versus those who take G3 subjects and thus there will be no class cohesion/unity.

2.  Discrimination against G2 students e.g. G3 students may look down on G2 students and see themselves as superior, thus they will deliberately ostracise G2 students, leaving G2 students to have a lower self-esteem and sense of belonging. They may ostracise G2 students by refusing to share resources/ refusing to tutor G2 students when help is needed.

Mitigation:
1. To spread out the number of G3 and G2 students in one class such that there are about equal halves of G2 and G3 students, then pair G2 and G3 students together in the seating plan. Thus, this encourages interaction between G2 and G3 students and will allow G2 and G3 students to bond, enforcing class unity.

2. To enforce that every student is equal regardless of the level of any subject they may take e.g conducting LEGACY lessons on treating everyone equally; showcasing scenarios where G2 students may feel left out/ostracised to make the class aware of the impacts of certain actions towards the G2 students; letting students engage and discuss with one another the importance of treating everyone fairly and the steps they could follow to ensure that they do so.

The students may be able to make more friends, due to having different classes with different people. But some others may keep to themselves, due to not knowing their non-form class classmates. How can we increase bonding between each individual subject class, while also covering the necessary content? 
2. Again, due to the shuffling of classes, will the students be able to form very close bonds rather than superficial ones, since they share classes apart from their classmates?

This can allow them to feel a sense of belonging to the school as it unites the students by allowing them to teach and learn together. This also allows the students to make more friends more easily as they bond with each other.

I think FSBB can remove pressures that are associated with being in a certain stream. Indeed students get to ‘customise’ their education and pursue subjects they are better at in greater depth. 

Since students taking G2 and G3 subjects will have some classes together, I think they will be able to ask one another for help. For example, a student taking Amath can assist a student taking applied math.

The move to FSBB could potentially lead to a division between students who take G2 and those who take G3 subjects. Some G3 students may discriminate against G2 students, wherease G2 students may form the impression that all G3 students look down on them. If this were to happen, the student population is likely to become increasingly polarized, or lead to students being hesitant or afraid of choosing G2 subjects for fear of being looked down upon.

Mitigation 
More effort can be put in to strengthen the cohesion between students, eg by carrying out more student-bonding activities to prevent any sort of division between g2 and g3 students.
