What worked for me today was reviewing what we wrote in the imperfect and preterite tense for ROMA. Also it helped to review the different conjugations for preterite and the various verbs.
What did not work for me was the short amount of time provided to understand preterites use. I would have liked to practice it in class more and have more time to recognize when to use it. Additionally, knowing what questions to ask myself to recognize the tense.

What worked well for me was the amount of in depth practice we did with the preterite tense since I have struggled a lot with this tense as well as the imperfect in other Spanish classes. I would have liked more practice with memorizing the 13 irregular verbs involved in the preterite tense.

I really liked the hand out we got today and I especially liked doing it in partners. I also like when we write sentences up on the board and then discuss them, I think it's a good way to go over homework. I wanna go over imperfect conjugation more and te irregulars which I think just consists of practice

I really enjoyed going over the conjugation. I think it was helpful to not only have a refresher on these different conjugations, but also getting to ask questions and really understand. I think I need a little bit more practice on knowing when to use the imperfect tense and when to use preterite. I think overall, I just need more practice!

I think that going over each of the different conjugations was really nice because you were able to then point out different irregularities and give us examples. I also enjoyed the online practice that we did as a group because I was able to hear different peoples arguments for why is should be one tense over the other. Adding on to that the hand out was also fun. Like many other people in the class, I still need some more practice knowing when to use the imperfect tense over the preterite and vice versa. I am also curious what kinds of stories we can write using these past tenses because it has been hard to come up with some. Maybe if we did a share in class tomorrow or you could provide some examples that would be much appreciated!

What worked very well for me today was going over conjugation for the preterite and all the irregular verbs. I thought that especially when we went over the irregular verbs which were confusing to me at first, but were then explained in an interesting way. I was also very interested in the BK Nelson activity we did which really clarified the distinctions between preterite and imperfect. I would like a little more practice with conjugating irregular verb in the past tenses and reviewing the imperfect conjugations.

I thought that the preterit conjugations handout was really helpful. It is not easy to memorize an entire tense especially with all the irregulars so I think it will be helpful to have a sheet that we can look back on when we forget which conjugation to use. Besides not having memorized everything in the past tense, I am still finding it difficult to differentiate between preterit and imperfect. I think I could use some more help with that.

I really liked getting the preterite "cheat sheet" that helped us understand how certain verbs changed and their conjugations. I get mixed up and forget spelling-change conjugations a lot so I think the preterite paper will be helpful. I also like when we write sentences from our homework on the board- it's a good way to go over it and helps everyone correct their mistakes at the same time. I would love to have a worksheet for the imperfect as well.

I would enjoy having a similar worksheet for the Imperfect tense also. In addition, I also liked watching Roma. I hope we can watch more Spanish videos in the future and make observations. Writing sentences from our homework is also helpful to understand simple and common mistakes and learning not to them again.
