She then met my dad, fell in love, and decided to stay. She says that her biggest struggles were being so far from her family and learning to speak english. In her early years in The United States, 9/11 happened. she said that it took a toll on travel and she couldn't go back home. She says that she still misses her family everyday and wishes she could have both worlds.
