There are signs that he is losing control based on the harshness and shrillness in his voice broadcast. He was the president in Haiti from 2017 until he died on July 7, 2021. To this day, we still don't know who killed President Jovenel, but just now Tanis Philomé was arrested in the Dominican Republic. He was an officer of the President's security team and other security personnel has been arrested as well. Questions have been raised if the security team was in on the attack. Only the President and his wife had gotten shot but none of the security guards had so that is very suspicious. It is unsure how the explosion came to be or who was at fault, but they lost about $1 billion worth of gold, which is around 20 tons. It also felled many trees and destroyed houses.
