in 1972 there were already 8,006 students in all faculties. 

By the 25th anniversary, 10 doctors of sciences and professors, 318 candidates of sciences already worked at the institute. 

All levels of education are represented at ESSUTU - pre-university, secondary specialized, higher, second higher education. 

Today the university is an educational network that includes 4 institutes, 9 faculties, 64 departments. The educational process is provided by about 120 professors - doctors of science, over 500 candidates of science. 

ESSUTU trains Chinese students in the bachelor's degree program "Economics" with the issuance of a Russian diploma.
