The last activity role-play cards was an enjoyable one. Cause we shared our thought and prepared some questions and answers, and we got a good interview. That's why, I enjoyed
It was an effective one cause we were all active during the activity, and we all think and brainstorming during preparing questions and answers.
I can use role play activity with my students, but I should give them some questions and answers, then it could be easier for them. Plus, I can use that activity in my PDC meetings. Maybe, some can create an activity for their own course and the others can prepare some questions about this activity's results and aims and ask about the ones who create the activity.

Listening

As we think about the four stages of listening, they all structured cause before doing the listening part you should make your students aware of many things. Giving them good exercises to make prepare themselves for the listening part. They got attention on the subject which included in your listening activity.
Previous of the listening, your students get the main subject and remember the details about the subject. Moreover, they can fell more motivated before the listening cause they can learn about the subject.
Drilling parts give students a chance to practice, so they can use speaking skill as well. Moreover, during drilling part students will be more active than preprocedure parts.
When we look at our coursebooks they all have listening parts; however, most of those are meaningless, so we need meaningful exercises which are Listen&do activities. After that adoption or alteration, maybe we can do listening part more meaningful and efficient.

Have your ideas about teaching YL changed in any way? If so, how?

My ideas have changed, cause I see what I could do more than boring activities. I'd love to say that we had lovely exercises by using nice techniques. By using them, I realise that I can make the activities more useful for my students. Moreover, thanks to adapting some activities in my classroom, I can give my students better learning atmosphere. For example, I can change some "listen and repeat" part with an effective activity such as "listen and point" (L&D Activities). Then, students will active and I also can do "formative assessment" during the course. Moreover, I figure out that doing that kind of of techniques make students more active. They can join the group works as well, so they feel more confident. For example, it is hard to encourage the students for doing the some tasks; however, doing to pair work or group work can make them more motivated and more confident. As a result, I should note that we are teachers and we should give students a better atmosphere, and make them active. Doing and applying those techniques not only changed my ideas also improved them in a good way.
Thanks a lot!

Do you think Shared Reading is a suitable procedure to use with L2 children? Why/why not?

I think shared reading procedures are suittable for L1 and also L2. It is generally for the L1 students, while we can use some techniques with L2 students. We can use that students expand their vocabularies. For example, with word recognition, they can understand and learn new vocabularies even if there are L2 students. Moreover, we can improve their visual discrimination while playing "Bingo game". They also listen and read during the game. Lastly, we can give them a good learning environment as a group, so this can be also suitable and useful for L2 students, too. As a conclusion, I think many procedures about shared reading are suitable for L2 students, so we can use those in our L2 classes.

PDCs meetings

1. In my PDCs meetings, I can use many methods that I learn today. I should give my participants a nice atmosphere that they can share their ideas and they can feel confident. They are also teachers, so that I can make them feel in that day. Moreover, I can let them think about the subject which is given and share their ideas then try to find the effective ways of the subject (checklist). After that, they can adapt or prepare an activity thanks to checklist. That will be very useful as I see today in class.
2. Arranging the time when we all meet can be challenging. For solving that problem maybe I can talk them before the first meeting via WhatsApp. On the other hand, giving feedbacks also can take too much time during the meeting. So maybe they can do their own checklist about the topic then they can use it before the meeting. During meeting I can make them pair or group and let them give each others feedback. It takes less time with that I guess.

Has your view of assessment changed? How?

Actually, I know how much assessment is important, but I can't do it often. Maybe after today's meeting, my view has changed about using assessment more. Generally, I use some assessments of learning; however, I should also use some assessments for learning. I do some formative assessment during the unit, but sometimes I don't really have time for that. For example, I use the app "plickers" for formative assessment but not really care about the reports of the activity because I have limited time. Therefore, I have learnt some new ways of assessments, so maybe I can use some of them in my classes. I have to improve myself do much more informative assessment. As a result, I can say that my thoughts have changed and improved about assessment
