Though, regarding new concepts and topics that we have gone over and that was new to me is me being able to express things that have happened past-tense. Also, instead of saying that the time is simply 5 minutes until 11, in Spanish you would say that the time is 11 minus 5 minutes. I would have thought that with it being a high tourist attraction that the country would move at a faster pace, and that schools would be similar to ours, and that the food would have been affected by dishes in other countries due to the fact that it's a high attraction area. Going into the listening quiz I had no expectations of an actual person saying the phrases, I had assumed it would be an automated voice. Not all online classes have as many help opportunities as this course did, and I really appreciated that availability. Things that I did not like was that throughout the entire course the practice assignments that didn't affect my grade weren't separated from the assignments that did count.
