If you were standing on the street side of the log, so on the other side, it’s not at all obvious that you’d notice her.

This quote from the Serial Podcast discusses the lack of physical evidence within the case directly linking Adnan to Hae's murder. The fingerprints in Hae's car could be explained by his prior acquaintance with her and not necessarily indicating involvement in her murder. The absence of DNA, fibers, hairs, or matching soil from Adnan's boots at the crime scene weakens the case against him, as these types of evidence are often crucial in linking a suspect to a crime. Further on contradicting the motive behind the murder which had been questioned by Saad and Rabia adds another layer to the argument for Adnan's innocence. This raises questions about the validity of the jury's conviction and the reasons that the jury had been so confident with convicting Adnan, was it his Muslim identity that would've made them think he'd do such things?

This quote from the Serial podcast discusses the location of where the body of Hae Min Lee was buried. The quote implies that the location of Hae's body was buried at a spot that isn't easily accessible. This raises plenty of questions about the prosecution's narrative and mindset behind their conviction of Adnan Syed and why he would've chose this specific location to bury Hae when he had to quickly dispose of her body without being seen since other evidences imply that he was in a rush and time crunch. Concluding this statement, Adnan wouldn't have thought of this spot within the time given to him and would have to drop the body off at another area where it would've been more reasonable to quickly dispose of the body without being out in the open, this adds credibility on Adnan's part since the 21 minutes given to him wouldn't have been enough for this burial spot and cover up around the body.

This quote from the Serial Podcast highlights the chaotic and crowded environment of the school. The quote especially highlights the time of Hae's being missing. The description heavily emphasizes the large number of people present, making it difficult to track the movement of any single individual. The mention of the school bus loop further adds to the congestion and delays in leaving the school premises, suggesting that it would be challenging for someone to carry out a detailed plan such as Hae's murder and disposing of the evidence as previously mentioned by Evidence #1 which highlights the location of the body's location. This further complicates the timeline of events. Overall suggesting the schools environment at the time of Hae's disappearance was busy and an environment that would've been hard to navigate to commit such a crime as the murder and disposal of a body.

This quote from the Serial Podcast highlights the difference in perspective between the individuals involved in Adnan's case. While some, such as Deidre, appeared hopeful and confident that further investigation would uncover new evidence, others, like the speaker, were more skeptical. The speaker reflects on their own experience, feeling that despite months of searching, thy had not found anything substantial that definitively supported Adnan's innocence. This suggests a level of caution and realism about the challenges of uncovering new evidence. As also mentioned in Evidence #2 it is seen that the lack of evidence is what questions the conviction of Adnan. Overall this quote highlights the varying prespectives within the investigate process, and showing how different individuals have different motivations and levels of optimism about the potential outcome of their research and further looking into his case. The lack of evidence is what would prove that Adnan is not guilty because our court systems relies on the fact that everyone is innocent until proven guilty.

This quote from the Serial Podcast suggests that the observations made by both the police and others had shown that Adnan appeared to be in denial when he first heard about Hae's disappearance. This observation could interpreted in a way which could be seen by the majority as a shock or disbelief when hearing that there was a tragic incident involving someone you know and/or once loved, in this case Adnan and his previous relationship with Hae. The quote can also be related to how Adnan didn't really have any Alibi's which murderers would think of to get away since he wouldn't have to think of any Alibi if he didn't commit any murder. Further supporting this, it is seen that Adnan stuck with his story throughout the whole of the podcast and isn't inconsistent with his stories like Jay was. Concluding these statements it is seen that Adnan doesn't appear to show any signs and/or characteristics that a murderer would show, with the evidence focusing in on the initial reaction that Adnan had.

This quote from the Serial Podcast shows Adnan's reaction to him being caught stealing a piece of clothing. This reaction directly correlates to Evidence #5 as it shows how Adnan reacts to getting "caught." His reaction to getting caught by stealing a jacket is him apologizing profusely. The severity of stealing a jacket and murder and completely different to great levels and shows how if Adnan reacted that much to getting caught over stealing a jacket, he would definitely break when being asked about a murder if he had committed it. Through the jacket being stolen we see how Adnan's character shows admission of guilt in the quote and how he tries to push it off as a innocent misunderstanding but instead ends up admitting the truth in the end. Adnan has stuck with his story till the end and still hasn't admitted that he was guilty by the end of the series, showing that if he had really done it then his previous response to the jacket getting stolen would've provoked him to break by the end and tell the truth, which hadn't happened. Therefore this makes him innocent based on the psychological evaluation of his reactions to confrontation.
