I  also able to work with our Theory of Knowledge IB class to run a mini unit on research at the collegiate level.
 On a normal year...I am happy with the overall reading habits of students. 9th and 10th grade ELA utilizes a reading program of their creation that aligns with their junior and senior level required IB course. It is scaffolded and allows a ton of student choice in the text they choose.
I have worked hard to move the library into the 21st century with green screens, iPads, podcasting stations, and a 3-D printer over the past 7 years.

All of these items are also carried over on the to work on section.

I would really like to broaden the scope of content areas that I work with and show them how the library can assist them to fulfill their class objectives. 

I would like to create more opportunities for students to read by choice in other content areas, but still aligning it with a unit/lesson. I just need more time! I would also like to figure out how to get the upper grades to read more because they want to.

Although I have a lot of tech I don’t feel like I use it enough. I would like to create a bank of project ideas that could fit with the tech I have and really advertise it to the teachers. I provide PD, but that isn’t enough to put it into a contextual situation.

All students should be working within an academic database in their high school career. The KCPL database are not at a high enough level for what our juniors and seniors should be working with if they are at of close to grade level. 

A budget to allow librarians to seek out purchased high quality PD at least every other year.
