         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>A for Antagonist&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; - in the novel The Diabolic the antagonist is not just one person but two: Cygna Domitrian (Mother to the Emperor) and Rendevald Domitrian (The Emperor)&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; - They believe that a Diabolic (a genetically engineered human like humanoid that is supposedly bonded to one person for life in order to be their personal bodyguard) has know feelings of love for anyone except the person they are genetically bonded too and do not deserve to have a normal position in society&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; - Both Cygna and Rendevald hunger for power and are willing to do anything to gain it&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; - As Nemesis (The Diabolic to Sidonia Impyrean) gains power Rendevald and Cygna see her as a threat and up becoming her enemy&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;- I could not find any fitting images of the antagonists so here is picture of the cover</li></ul>]]></description>

This is the climax because the entire book had been leading up to this point of Tyrus and Nemesis's success.</li></ul>]]></description>

The main part of the book occurs on a super-sized ship called the Chrysanthemum which has compartments that together form the shape of the flower. The people follow the Helios religion in that the stars are basically gods. This takes place in a democratic monarchy.</li></ul>]]></description>

Sidonia was the daughter of a senator with low social ranks,&nbsp; and Nemesis was Sidonia's Nemesis (Her bodyguard for life). "Diabolics "...would gladly kill for [the] person..."(Kincaid 11) they protect in order to keep them safe. When Nemesis takes Sidonia's place she is taken to the chrysanthemum where her life there is explained.</li></ul>]]></description>

Cygna's plan would go through as planned and Tyrus's plan to double cross Cygna would not have been thought of or it would have been found out. Although this might end the series early this is a very likely ending that could have happened.</li></ul>]]></description>

They way the author portrays Nemesis as a conflicted person battling between having emotions and being an inhumane humanoid. This is a good book because it puts a story to the feelings that some of us feel everyday.</li></ul>]]></description>

In the resolution Nemesis and Tyrus became empress and emperor and the author leaves the readers on a cliffhanger about whether the new rulers will be able to keep the crown and if there will be any opposers. Nemesis and Tyrus plan on restarting education and science in the end but we don't know if they actually do.</li></ul>]]></description>

It was striking because it is amazingly true and a good description of her that I would never have thought of. Nemesis describes herself as monster but the way the matriarch her superior described her was remarkable.</li></ul>]]></description>
