I did ice breakers with teachers. There was one around thanksgiving and another around vulnerablilities that we we had regarding teaching. I brought breakfast item in and it was nice but I don't know that I would do that everytime we meet this year. Teachers have different tastes and I felt a lot was being wasted.

Something I learned was that everyteacher has their own idea of what they want to get out of this experience. I gave a survey for teachers to share their honest opinions about their experience. Most were positive except for one teacher who felt that our meetings weren't important enought to be pulled out of the classroom ( only 1 out 8). I think moving forward, I will do a survey to determine what support looks like to each teacher and try to accomodate them.

-I would like to meet with admin to determine who I should be supporting this year. Some schools just do teachers who are in team, others do teachers who may just be new to Hartford or may be DSAP. I would like to know how to clearly support everyone in the building.

Last year I learned that one of the LCs had monthly meetings with a theme for each month and that inspired me to adopt a theme for one of our meetings each month.

I learned from my new teachers last year that they were a bit too overwhelmed to make decisions about the kind of support they needed and so this year I am going to be much more deliberate and trust my intuition.
