This self portrait is meant to show the things I love, I did this by using the procrate program. I used the drawn cat to represent my love of drawing and my love of cats. If I could do this project again, I would add some more elements into the drawing. While doing this project, I learned that a self portrait doesn't have to be of your face.

The objects are a bottle my mom made me and the box that holds my cats ashes these are important to my because the water bottle had been given by my mom and the box because that was a cat that I had known since I was born. I had my objects tilted to the right and shading helped because it made the objects more 3d I struggled with finding the 2nd object.

I used photography to capture a picture from my cats perspective when looking out the back door. I chose this media because I was in a rush and my cat is very photogenic. I struggled with trying to get a decent looking angle. I learned that my camera can auto blur.

I ended up using only two colors. I did struggle a little with contrast when trying to limit my colors. The positive space in my art work is the purple and the negative space is the white. I do not have any questions. I am feeling pretty good about positive and negative space.

I chose purple and blue to represent calm and energy, I chose to show this by having A kid looking in awe at the shooting star in the sky. I used procreate to do this produce, I drew the background and copied and pasted the stars while inserting a png of a kid looking up.

I used the song called The lazy song by Bruno Mars. I did this artwork as a combination for another class I chose to do this character because he is based on one of my cats that is very very lazy and I presented that in a little comic strip. I chose to show the song this way because you can tell that the character dosen't want to wake up and wants to keep being lazy but is forced to get up.

My process was pretty easy

I wanted to make these because I saw it on pinterest and it looked yummy

I didn't struggle much

To put all your weight into pressing the rice

I based this picture on the idiom "piece of cake" meaning that something should be easy. The reason I chose to draw a piece of cake is because it is what the words say. I would describe this to some one who doesn't speak our language as something easy.

I chose to base my character off of a Lilly in the rain. I took the rain for the background and the lilly for the dress, I wanted to make the umbrella look like the part of the stem that connects with the Lilly. I got a little carried away, originally I wasn't planning on doing a background but then this idea popped into my head and I wanted to do it.
