I am very special because I was born through upcycling. My body used to be a fabric softener bottle, but my creative friends in the classroom gave me a new life with colors, fabrics, and lots of love!

I love cleanliness, the smell of fresh flowers, and making new friends across Europe. I am so excited to be part of this eTwinning project and learn all about your world!

My mission is to supervise the area to make sure it stays clean.

I am made from reused and recyclable materials such as cardboard tube, caps, CDs, fabrics, knitting yarn and craft paper.

 My motto is: clean space, clean environment, clean planet!

My name is Garbage Eater (Skoupidofagos), and I’m called that because I gobble up the trash I find in front of me. I am a special friend of the environment, made not from new materials, but from things that some people thought were useless. The children from the 23rd Kindergarten of Alexandroupolis brought me to life using recyclable materials and lots of imagination!

My purpose is to remind everyone how important it is to take care of our Earth. With a little creativity, every box, bottle, or piece of paper can have a second chance and become something beautiful and useful.

My name is Ricky, the recycler.

I am made of recyclable materials such as plastic bottles, caps, newspapers and various papers. Together with the children we will save the EARTH. I don't throw, I recycle and I smile.

This creative construction shows how recycling can become art, giving new life to everyday “useless” materials. In the image, the following recyclable or reusable materials can be identified: Cardboard: the base of the face is cut from brown packaging cardboard. Egg cartons: the eyes and nose are made from pieces of a paper egg carton. Fabrics: the hair is made from strips of old pink fabric. Magazines: the flowers at the bottom, the lips, and the ears are cut from magazine pages. Natural materials: on the head there are dry twigs and leaves, as well as flowers, which are biodegradable. Imagination can transform waste into something beautiful and creative, highlighting the power of reuse.

I was created from materials that some people might throw away… but the children gave me a second life! My body is made from a laundry detergent bottle, my wings from a plastic bottle, and my eyes from metal and plastic caps that were once considered “useless.” Now, I have a purpose!

I live in a colorful garden made of egg cartons, caps, and straws. The flowers may not be real, but they carry a very real message: nothing is waste when there is imagination and care for the environment.

Do you know why I’m so important?
My fellow bees and I help plants grow by carrying pollen from flower to flower. Without us, many of the foods you love wouldn’t exist!

But our environment is in danger…
Pollution and waste make it hard for us to survive

I may look a little unusual, but that’s because I’m made from many different things that people once thought were useless. I myself am made of recyclable materials and I was made by the kindest and most sensitive children! My whole body was an old shoebox, my hair was a newspaper full of interesting news. My eyes were soda bottle caps, my eyebrows were made when a little friend scratched a pencil, and my mouth is a small twig from the school Christmas tree. As for my nose? It's a little ball from a magazine page!And what kind of hero would I be without strong arms and legs, eh? My plastic fork-spoon legs can definitely protect the environment!

I love riding my bike and helping the Earth stay clean and green!

With a touch of imagination, we transformed everyday waste into a beautiful sea turtle. We used egg cartons for her body, colorful plastic caps for her shell, and cardboard rolls for her head.

Hope is not just a craft; she represents our promise for clean seas and a bright blue planet. Through her eyes, we learn to discover the treasure hidden in recycling!

_{We had so much fun bringing Elmer to life in our classroom! Here is how we did it:}

• _{Preparing: We took a clean plastic jug and turned it upside down so the handle became Elmer’s trunk.}

• _{Gluing: We brushed glue all over the plastic surface.}

• _{Decorating: We picked our favorite colors and stuck colorful tissue paper squares everywhere to make a beautiful patchwork pattern.}

• _{Finishing Touches: We added two googly eyes and big ears to complete our elephants!}
