Helps to manage the crowd and speeds up the process (check in, immigration, security check)

- Good retail, food offerings and facilities ( eg. a large variety of duty-free shop/butterfly gardens) 

Airside retail experiences have an impact on travellers. Good retail and food offerings will often encourage passengers to arrive early to relax, browse and eat before departure, lowering last-minute panic and helping flatten out peaks.
