  • consider and use the rule of thirds + camera angles +  colours and lighting + face/body/voice (acting) for emotional effect in their filming

We have established that each game has a 'ready position' after a shot - we will develop this some more in the following weeks. We have established that there are 4 common areas…All games have – 
-       A ready position
-       Rules
-       A hitting action – forehand, overhead, and backhand
-       A serve
Our focus thus far as we GO FURTHER and MAKE CONCLUSIONS within our Inquiry has been to integrate our knowledge of these common areas into gameplay. We have talked about and Inquired into FORM+FUNCTION (technique) for each but we haven’t actually tested these inquiries against any REAL expert research or teachings. Several opportunities and motivations have been given to the students to do this BUT to no avail. However we have included this challenge in our latest blog post so we will see what transpires next week. 
We are seeing vast improvement across the 3 sports as we focus on FORM and FUNCTION under the umbrella of ‘Technique’ – We are constantly reviewing, communicating, and checking in on our CHANGE (improvement levels).
Next week the students will be looking at the ATL’s and how they can apply them to an activity that they have already designed that includes an analysis of one the common areas of one sport. This is a result of our PD days and PGE programme – so we will keep you updated!
