Fun first date party with friends! I was nervous to not take a date to our date party; however my friends make me feek so loved and we have so much fun on our own! This was such a good experience because there was a live band, so many girls, and overall just a fun first of many! 9/19

Went to Starkville for the weekend and reconnected with old friends! Getting homesick doesn't feel so bad when I'm with my best friends from home. We went to dinner and all goto to sleepover together, just like in high school! 9/5

Went home for the weekend and got to see my sister! This was a familiar place, but honestly a new experience. It was a little weird to come back to my home for only a day and view it as a vacation. It was much needed! 9/12

First Friday out in college! YAY! I was a little nervous I wouldn't have fun this night since it was truly all so new with bid day only happening 2 days before this! Some of these girls are my close friends now and it's so sweet to look back on almost 2 months later!

Beat LSU! LSU weekend is always such a hyped up week and even though the game was extremely hot it was really fun to see us win!

My high school best friend and I at the MSU vs. ASU game! Rushed the field and got to experience a taste of college with my high school friends that all went to MS State. I never really go to gamedays not in the Grove, so it was a nice change of tailgate scenery. There's nothing like the Grove though!

Rowdy Redneck Swap! KD had our first social event of the year where we went to the Sigma Nu house and had a swap! Very first freshman social was super exciting and it honestly helped affirm me in my choice to come to Ole Miss and go KD! Blessings upon blessings!

Bid day! AKA best day ever!!! So many nerves and unknowns throughout this whole week, but it was so worth it to be able to run home to my best friends! My favorite part about bid day is looking back at it and seeing how many pictures I took with "random" girls and now seeing that we're extremely close friends! The start of it all!

Disco swap!! This Friday swap was so fun! At this point in the year friend groups are starting to form and I love my girls so much! We got to dress in sparkle and go-go boots! A lot of my high school friends are in the fraternity that we swapped with too, so it was very refreshing to see some familiar faces!

First philanthropy event(KD Quesedillas)! Happy Friday! I remember seeing videos about this event in the KD rush video and it was awesome to actually experience it! There was a mariachi band and raffle prizes! 10/10

CASA!!!!! One of my favorite memories from college yet! Me and my bestfriend got to be main characters for our group dances. It was genuinely so much fun to perform in front of a sold out Pavillion. We got 3rd place and I miss performing this dance!

Honors College Convocation! Got to listen to an amazing speaker who inspired us to make a difference for something we were passionate about. To be honest, I was not excited about this at first, but the speaker ended up being very well-spoken and attention grabbing!

Ignite Rebelthon meeting! Ignite is such a fun first year Rebelthon Dance Marathon experience! At the meeting we just discussed what all we had coming up so that we could hype up our classmates and get them to come!

Pinelake College! I've been going to Pinelake College in Oxford every week. We have worship and I've gotten to meet a lot of intentional and Godly friends! I really feel connected and I even signed up to go to Passion Conference with Pinelake this Christmas break!

Went to the bookstore for the first time! I was a little stressed out to go because I just didn't know how it all worked and wasn't sure what all I needed rented and what I needed bought. It ended up being very easy and the workers were vert helpful!

POD runs! One thing I've been really enjoying is late night runs to the POD market in Martin and Stockard. I'm up studying late a lot and need a snack, so it's a really convenient option to quickly fuel up!

Went to Union Unplugged and got to watch the newly probated Deltas perform their strolls! The music was so fun, and it was honestly the best new experience because I got to learn about some of the D9 fraternities and sororities. 11/21
