Gill is a multidisciplinary artist whose work deeply resonated with me when I first encountered it in 2008. Her creation was a fascinating amalgamation of videos exploring Sanskrit, mathematical operations, birds, and a transparent sculpture that housed the installation. The concept of the book, or the origin of language, is a recurring theme in Gill’s work, a theme I had the privilege to discuss with her in person. We met at the Maharishi University’s dome. Having lived in Fairfield for years, she has been a prolific artist and a former faculty member at the Arts Faculty. Her works have been exhibited in numerous prestigious venues and have garnered widespread recognition.
