My grade level works collaboratively each week to create lesson plans and share resources. We use a common drive to add resources, make Jam boards for word sorts, and use Google Slides to create interactive presentations for our kids.

Our team collaborates regularly sharing strategies, resources and ideas about how to best help our struggling students, so we can implement best practices.

First grade shares strategies and resources in our PLC groups.

Our team literally collaborates on everything. We are a pretty close knit group. We have fun, laugh, cry, vent, and get to work. We regularly split up tasks so everyone shares the load of whatever the project is. I am so honored to work alongside these ladies every day!

With such a large grade level, we tend to collaborate more with our PLC groups. However, we do share ideas at grade level meetings. We also have a shared Google Drive.

I work at a smaller school, I only have one other first grade teacher to collaborate with but we work together on everything.

We collaborate by planning and sharing ideas for the first 10 days. One person shares their plans and others are able to copy plans and then the next week, someone else puts their plans in planbook.

Our first grade team is rather large, but we collaborate with lesson plans. We also are very good at letting each other know when we find a resource that could be used for instruction. Especially now that we have all this new curriculum and everything is changing at once.

I work with a rather large 1st grade team, but this year we have a focus on collaboration. We are being intentional about sharing lesson plans and ideas. I have also been collaborating with 1st grade teachers from other Shelby County Schools. At school, we have weekly meetings - PLC and grade level. For across schools, we have a shared Google Drive and use email a lot.

My team has collaborated together to make sure we are all on the same page as to what we want to teach in lessons. We have separated the work load so each person on the time is contributing to a successful school year.

My first grade team consists of only two of us. Collaboration in a team so small is HUGE. My coteacher and I collaborate on just about everything. We bounce ideas off of each other, lighten each other's loads when we can, and provide ideas to each other when we have them. We work together to communicate effectively with parents as well.
