after failing to get into college 3 times he went into running Jonnie's Cafe for many years, meeting hundreds of people and even having Ned Beatty as a semi regular customer, after running the cafe he went back to college as a radiologic technician (the guy that takes X rays) and has worked his way up into Interventional tech (arteries and veins)
i think he is a good example to not quit and work towards something better

He has worked hard towards his goal and continues to work harder and harder each day. He's rapped on stage with some well known artist too and preformed at some big events.
