Overview
Golden Tee Inclusive Golf is a pioneering Kenyan initiative dedicated to promoting disability inclusion through the sport of golf. By creating opportunities for persons with disabilities (PWDs), particularly children and youth, Golden Tee transforms golf into a platform for empowerment, education, and environmental action.

As a Sports Development Initiative

• Inclusive Training: Tailored golf clinics for individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, physical impairments, and visual impairments.

• Talent Development: Identifies and supports promising athletes to compete locally and internationally, including the Special Olympics and World Ranking for Golfers with Disabilities (WR4GD).

• Awareness & Advocacy: Hosts events aligned with global days (e.g. autism awareness month, Women’s Day) to champion inclusion and challenge stigma.

• Collaboration: Works with schools, golf unions, clubs, and disability organizations to expand reach and impact.

• Life Skills: Builds confidence, discipline, and social interaction for marginalized youth through sport.

This initiative focuses on using sport for development and change, specifically targeting helpless orphans and vulnerable children in Kisoro District, Southwest Uganda.

The main goals are:

To encourage children to stay in school.

To foster resilience and hope for a bright future among the children.

This initiative aligns with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including goals 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 4, and 8. The importance of this initiative is rooted in the belief of loving one another and caring for orphans, with the expectation that helping these children will bring blessings to everyone involved.

The implementation of the activity will be supported by village peer leaders and a local team of trained sport intervention leaders.

The Her Sport Her Way Grant Program covers the entirety of NSW and is a key initiative of the NSW Government’s Her Sport Her Way strategy. The Program aligns with the Office of Sport Strategic Plan and supports sports participation plans. It provides more than $2.5 million over four years to assist our NSW State Sporting Organisations to develop and deliver new initiatives to increase participation of women and girls in sport, on and off the field, with a focus on diversity and inclusion.

Our mission is to promote innovative and sustainable sports and physical activity programs as a means of social change and women’s empowerment, with a special focus on marginalised communities.

This Spanish organization has implemented the Sach’a project, which combines the construction of schools, sports activities, and agroforestry training workshops in rural and indigenous communities in Bolivia, Peru, and Ecuador. The project aims to promote a sustainable way of life, integrating sports, cooperation, economic development, the environment, and education.

1. Dispositif "Basket Form'" :

o Offre Sportive Diversifiée : Proposer une offre sportive diversifiée pour toucher tous les publics, notamment les personnes atteintes de maladies chroniques. Le dispositif "Basket Form'" inclut des séances d'activités physiques modérées et adaptées, conçues pour améliorer la condition physique des participants.

o Interventions en EHPAD : Intervenir dans les EHPAD pour permettre aux résidents de pratiquer une activité physique adaptée. Ces interventions visent à lutter contre les maladies chroniques et à améliorer le bien-être des résidents, tout en favorisant la pratique d’une activité physique régulière.

o Actions Ponctuelles : Organiser des actions ponctuelles pour les enfants (mini-basket) et les femmes (manifestations sportives féminines). Ces actions visent à encourager de nouvelles manières de pratiquer le basket-ball, quel que soit le public, et à promouvoir l'inclusion et la diversité dans la pratique sportive.

2. Projet "Basket en QPV" :

o Activités Sportives et Ludiques : Organiser des activités sportives et ludiques pour les jeunes (8 à 16 ans) des quartiers prioritaires, en collaboration avec les centres socioculturels locaux. Ces activités incluent des sessions de découverte du basket-ball, des matchs et des tournois, ainsi que des ateliers ludiques pour initier aux techniques de base du sport.

o Stages Gratuits : Créer des stages gratuits pendant les vacances scolaires, ouverts à tous les jeunes, licenciés ou non, pour une semaine complète d’activités sportives enrichissantes. Ces stages alterneront théorie et pratique, permettant aux jeunes de découvrir et de pratiquer le basket-ball dans un environnement sécurisé et encadré.

o Promotion des Valeurs Citoyennes : Promouvoir les valeurs fondamentales du sport telles que le respect, la solidarité, l’esprit d’équipe et la tolérance. Les activités proposées visent à encourager l’intégration sociale et à favoriser les échanges entre jeunes issus de divers horizons sociaux et culturels, renforçant ainsi la cohésion sociale.

I have been actively promoting female football in my village since 2015. My initiatives include organizing sports camps, football tournaments, and gender-equality football matches, including matches held at the highest-altitude football ground in Pakistan.

Description:

The Zhejiang City Basketball League (ZheBA) is a province-wide grassroots basketball competition launched in 2025. The league involves all 11 cities and 90 counties/districts across Zhejiang Province, making it one of the largest community sport events in the region.

Unlike professional leagues, ZheBA focuses on ordinary local residents rather than professional athletes. Players represent their hometowns and communities, strengthening local identity, community engagement, and civic pride. The competition encourages people of different ages and backgrounds to participate in sport, promotes healthy lifestyles, and creates opportunities for social interaction and community development.

Beyond sport participation, ZheBA has generated significant economic and social benefits. The league has attracted large audiences, increased local tourism, stimulated consumer spending, and supported the growth of the sport industry throughout Zhejiang. It demonstrates how sport can be used as a platform to promote community development, social inclusion, and regional economic vitality.
