And vice versa, we could argue that Jante-loven can be interpreted as a reaction to capitalism. For instance that people from the upper classes or succesfull people are not better than others.

The culture can be influenced by markets who can adapt customs from other parts of the world, in order to introduce a new tradition through marketing as a way to gain profits, as e.g. Halloween, Valentines Day, Black Friday, Hygge

Capitalism in Denmark might be influenced by Danish culture through the law of Jante and its relation to the Danish (progressive) tax system. This way of doing taxes in return also influences the behavior and thought patterns of Danes and might serve to confirm the status quo of economic affairs.
