"I thought that maybe I could find myself" is saying that she didn't feel like herself and was broken.
"I know they say you can't go home again" is saying that someone took her house from her and she is upset about it because she grew up making memories in that house, that has defined her.

It's a song that's full of sorrow and hiraeth, a deep longing for someones home.
