Unoka- is Oknkwo's father, he was very poor and couldn't make ends meet with his wife and son, he wasn't very hardworking which is one of the reasons he wasn't very successful in his life and was all around a failure compared to his son, he isn't alive but I feel like he still may contribute to the story as it goes on because of the fact that almost everything Okonkwo does, he does because he wants to be the complete opposite of his father

He is tall, huge, has bushy eyebrows and a wide nose. He finds it difficult to communicate his thoughts because he has a stammer. He does not display any emotions with the exception of anger. He has a constant fear of being anything like his father and is allowing that to dictate his future. I believe that he is going to eventually express his emotions once his past begins to become to much of a burden. 

Unoka: He was the father of Okonkwo. He can be described as freeloader because he always asked people for money, but would never pay them back. He is very talented on the flute, but possesses laziness and was very irresponsible. He was a very bad father and was unable to provide for his family.  His number one passion was his music and found great joy when playing his flute. Unfortunately, this character cannot evolve because he has already passed. However if he still was alive, I believe that he woud see the success of his son and attempt to come back into Okonkwo's life, but will be pushed away and rejected from reentering. 

Nwoye: He was Okonkwo's oldest son. Okonkwo expresses disappointment towards his son because he believes that he is too much like Unoka. Nwoye is forced to live in the shadows of his successful and powerful father. When he does not meet the standards of his father, he is often beaten and yelled at. The constant abuse develops Nwoye into a sad, powerless, and insecure boy. I believe that Nwoye is going to stop trying to be like his father and venture off onto his own path. Unfortunately, I think that he is going to live his life hating his father and wanting to exact his revenge or become better or more powerful than his father (overthrow him).

Enzima: She is the only daughter of Ekwefi and Okonkwo. She and her mother have a special bond because she is the only one of Ekwefi's 10 children who are still alive. She is also the favorite child of Okonkwo, but he does not express much affection to her because he does not want to show any weakness. According to Okonkwo, she would make a perfect son and reminds him of Ekwefi, at the time when she was the village beauty. I believe that Enzima is going to grow into a very powerful and strong woman.
