He comes from a family who were all farmers and hard working people and that's where he got the idea of landscape nature photography. The centre of the photograph is the brightest whereas the edges or the frame of the photograph is darker than the centre giving an idea of where to look in the image. Natural light is used for taking this photograph. the direction of the female is towards the sun or the light meaning that she is walking towards success or a better future. because the sun is half covered in branches, it can also mean that the female is in search of success or looking for a better and brighter future. The shadows can represent bad days and it is clearly seen that she is leaving the shadow behind and is not looking back at all. she is concentrated and looks very straight towards the light. The spring season can also represent happiness and freshness.
The second photograph is also an image with a powerful message similar to the first one but however in second the light has been blurred out. the light comes from the centre and we also have the main subject at the centre. The innocence look of the little girl and the dog can represent companion, friendship and no to animal cruelty. He uses low shutter speed, motion blur, reflection, low light condition and other techniques to capture cityscape photographs.
His work in his website is displayed in a large full screen format with slide show. he displays all his famous photographs in his website. I have learnt that taking photograph at dark gives a very unique and special texture and beauty to the photographs.  the two locations for my photo shoot will be the Tate Modren and Kingston. I will go to Tate Modren at night time because I would like to capture motion of the moving cars with a low shutter speed similar to the photographer I selected. I will also be going to Kingston at night to capture the traffics moving on A3 and another street there. I will need a camera, tripod, warm cloths, SD card and extra battery. the tripod will help me in taking motion photographer as it will hold the camera still when my shutter is low. holding the camera in hand and taking motion photographs, specially the ones with longer shutter speed will create camera shake. 
I will use tongstune white balance due to the fact that most cars have tongstune lights. the ISO will be around 100/200 and my shutter speed will be at the range of 10 seconds to 30 seconds.

The main purpose of this activity was the understand the principle of composition and use all the rules in photographs. below is a list of the rules used in composition.
there are as follow: rule of third, perspective, negative space, rule of odds, different angles, centre of picture, framing, point of view, frame within a frame and many more. in this activity it can be seem that most of these rules have been used such as the bench which creates leading lines and rule of third. Photoshop will help us produce better quality image than to the one taken with a camera when our settings were not set well. we can use Photoshop mainly for the purpose of correcting minor issues with the photographs. The Hue/Saturation option is where you can change the colour of the image. you can also change the sharpness of the image and change it the way you think looks good.

In regards to the location, nothing was planned and we had to create ideas and suggestions on the spot. At the start i was struggling with the camera's settings and the photographs were overexposed and bright. i have changed the ISO to 200 as it was a sunny and bright day. when I was in Oxford street, on that day i didn't know much about aperture and what it does so i didn't adjust it. My group and i then decided to change our location since we could't do much about the overexposure of the photographs. we then started to get well exposed images and capture motion. I have a very good interest in taking landscape photographs and would love this to be my career. I love being different to others and create something new that others may not know about or something that's there but its not famous or well known. an example on this could be mixing portrait photography with landscape and cityscape photography. this will give it a very unique and special look completely different to what other photographers may be taking. to make it even better, different settings could also be used such as black and white. this will completely change how a photograph may appear. 

in conclusion, looking at these photographers and all their techniques and skills, I be combining and mixing individual's skills to create my own special way of being a photographer. the work of photographers that attracts me the most are Charlie Waite, Robert Adams, David Naton and Paul Reiffer. Charlie's work is more based on calm and relaxing nature, colourful, with different seasons and different mood whereas Robert's work mainly based on black and white, giving it an old, ancient texture and old look more like photographs from world wars. David's work is very similar to Charlie's work and almost have similar ideas but David takes pictures of nature whereas Charlie takings photographs of nature that involves patterns, leading lines and other compositions.

Almost every aspect of composition was used in this photograph apart from framing I failed to do so. I have negative space and I could have got ridden of that by capturing the entire building on the right and reduce the negative space on the left of the photograph. the ISO and the white balance was set well to the weather conditions on that day. my ISO was 200 and the white balance on cloudy.
overall it is a very effective photographs due to its unique, ancient and ghostly look as if the buildings and everything has been there for centuries. the colour of the letters in red also matches the colour of the ships which sends a message and could have a hidden meaning to it. the most interesting part is the reflection in the eater which makes this photograph unique and special. framing method was used for the second photograph but however the framing was used incorrectly once again.
The third photograph, for the third time I have struggled to capture the right frame and balance out the image and this is one of my weaknesses which was also pointed out by Sheila so I need to focus and work more on this]]> 2017-12-07 23:21:12 UTC https://padlet.com/10597388/qbxlcyl9gpg0/wish/214356909 10597388 https://padlet.com/10597388/qbxlcyl9gpg0/wish/214359964 on the left hand side the photographs from Vauxhall trip can be seen.  these photographs did not come out well and according to the plan and the task given. one of the reason for this was because most of us were prepared for the weather outside and when we went there it was freezing cold and it was hard to capture photographs with all the passion, ambition and excitement i had. the weather was also dark and cloudy. 
The first cityscape photograph has some motion blur and cityscape view which is good as this was the plan before the trip. it also has some leading lines as well as rule of third. there is also some negative space, patterns and different POV. 
the second photograph doesn't have much speciality but however it was one of the best one i have taken due to the fact that it is HD and is well exposed. however the framing and balancing of the photograph isn't the best and that's what makes it look a bit off balance. apart from that, it has patterns, negative space, rule of odds and rule of third. the third photograph is similar to the second one with similar compositions.
