This theme is that a story teaches us by not giving up but only if you work hard you always win something. I believe this because It shows how worthy we are and also by giving us chances. Although Fati never stopped working she would achieve something, all the time they worked on a carpet they would get a rupee or line removed.Iqbal is also another example of not giving up to win something.Because he worked so hard and then later he got his whole “family”/ group of people freed (D’Adamo 68-70). Also when they also when they all go picked/ rescued from the carpet factory they all couldn’t believe this was happening.They all were on the verge of tears, they couldn’t believe their eyes.They were so shocked. They did not understand anything they would say because they were from United States and they were living in Pakistan which is in Asia. And they had a different language so it was harder to understand what they were saying.And they wold have to have someone have an interpreter.

An object that really represents my story is a kite. A kite represents my story because how in the beginning Iqbal was on and off of being a slave. He would get sold to different masters all the time. He talked to Fatima about how in the next spring they would fly a kite together, because he believes in miracles and love and future. In the middle of the book a kite can represent the book because when he got into the tomb he believed in himself. In the end of Iqbal it showed how relieved he felt after getting a chance to get Hussain Khan arrested.

<var>

</var>

I think the author's purpose is that you WILL need motivation in order to get something finished or to reach your goal. Since, Iqbal believed in hope and the future and the others didn't believe in Iqbal, they just thought he was the best, and the masters and then they tried hard. But they weren’t hopeful as iqbal is.Iqbal was so smart and hopeful. Others just thought he was too happy and sensitive, and was in his early stages of slavery, which is not as bad as the others. But that was not the case. He would talk about what dreams and what’s he gonna do later when he’s not in slavery.
