To conclude, Jack and I decided that it was more likely that many people could've accused people of witchcraft out of jealousy. Many people were religious meaning it would not be far fetched to convince someone, a priest for example, and turn the tables on many people they did not liked or for their intentions. This could've escalated into people accusing everyone left and right of being a witch as rumors tend to falsely go around without much evidence.
