Before the UN, its predecessor was the League of Nations, but then it was ceased because it failed to prevent another conflict. we learnt that the FAO's headquoter is in Rome! And its most important missions are for example to eliminate hunger al over the world, to make agriculture, forestry and fishign more productive and to reduce the rural poverty. The ILO tries to promote rights at work and encourage decent employment opportunities, like main missions; its headquoter is in Ginevra. In the same city stay the headquoter of WHO, which deals with health system.
