Everyone has something they are good at but people need to be praised for those things. There are many different talents and I do believe you should be recognized for them.

I believe that people who have talents that are rarely heard of or never done before should get some sort of extra recognition. However, I don't believe that the recognition they get should be too extravagant. Otherwise, it would make people hate on their talent and try to get it themselves therefore not making it so amazing. Personally, if I had an extra talent that nobody else had, I would want to be recognized for it. But, if the person uses the talent as for harmful purposes, they shouldn't be recognized.

This has a certain truth to it, but it has limits. Parents should be able to take credit for the behavior of their children, but not their own individual achievements. Parents need to let their children figure some things out by themselves, and let them be proud of their achievements. Taking credit for their work will make them insecure in the long run.

And say something in the realms of " Hey that is my kid, You see that one over there I MADE THAT." Yea such like this is sociably acceptable. But I don't think the parent should take full credit because the child is their own person you might take credit for raising the individual but cannot take all credit because the person who did the thing is not them. My parents will say sometimes if I do something well that I got the skill or trait from them and will proceed to argue over which one of them.
