The type of people that are around them. I think that there are many teachers who are understanding of students' situations inside and outside of school. But there are also teachers and staff members that add on to the pressure of students by being insanely strict. They do not accept late work by even a minute. Whereas other teachers give the students extra time if needed, often with very few points taken off. This causes the students to be worried about grades and feel almost confused as the pressure is slightly lifted and then replaced.
