In addition to teaching, I’ve always sought to make meaningful changes in the educational system. I introduced a percentage-based grading system, moving away from numerical grades to give students a better understanding of their progress. I also founded an International Song Festival in middle school, offering students a chance to showcase their talents and connect with other cultures through music.

Outside the classroom, I have a deep passion for travel, and I enjoy incorporating elements of different cultures into my lessons. I love organizing student trips, not just for fun but to provide real-world learning experiences. I’m also committed to volunteer work and have coordinated various student volunteer projects, believing that such activities teach valuable life skills.

Ultimately, my mission as a teacher is to inspire my students to reach their full potential and open their minds to the possibilities of the world.

I’m interested in social sciences, especially sociology because I enjoy learning how people and communities work. I also really enjoy listening to music some of my favourite artists are: Limb Bizkit, Tame Impala, Bruno Mars, Joey Valence & Brae, Raye, The Smiths  and Gorillaz. I decided to join the Erasmus project to meet new people, improve my English and experience life in another country.

Hi everyone! I am 16 years old and currently a student in the 3rd grade of high school in Puszcza Mariańska. In addition to my regular studies, I have completed two years of musical school – the Broadway Musical School in Warsaw.

In the Erasmus project, I want to improve my English skills and become more fluent, as well as make new friends and, of course, enjoy our time in Czech and Poland.

In my free time, I like spending time with my friends, listening to music, cooking, and singing. I believe this experience will bring us unforgettable memories and wonderful friendships.

I am a mother of two children and the proud owner of a tomcat. In my free time I enjoy running, hiking and dancing, and of course spending time with my family. We travel a lot, especially to the mountaines, where we can relax and recharge our batteries.

I enjoy travelling around the Czech republic and visiting European countries as well because I like discovering new places. The city where I love to return is Vienna or Paris since I study French at school and I fell in love with the entire culture.

Surprisingly I’m a big fan of Maths and I hope I will study some sort of it at university one day. I’m also keen on photography and learning how do modern technology work.

I am passionate about reading books, especially fantasy ones, watching good TV series and films, and listening to music and podcasts. I play the flute, and I do volleyball, sometimes I go for a run or a walk with my golden retriever - I love animals. I live in a village with a forest nearby, where I can enjoy running or just going on a walk. I love sports, maybe a bit uncommon, like discgolf or riding a kickbike. I also like to relax with a great fantasy book, music or when I do some random creative stuff. 

When it comes to travelling, I'm into hiking in mountains or discovering not that famous and crowded places. I've visited different beautiful European countries but in the end I was always happy to come back to Czechia.

Recently, I quite enjoy stepping out of my comfort zone and trying new things like this project.

I’m looking forward to the Erasmus program because I want to experience something new and see what Poland is like. I think it will be interesting to visit another country, meet new people, and learn more about a different culture and daily life there. I’m excited to be part of this experience.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my closest: my wonderful husband and two giggly,  energetic kids. I used to be a keen rower and an avid reader, which are hobbies I’d love to return to once life allows me to slow down a little.

One of my biggest passions is travelling. I love discovering new places, learning about different cultures, and stepping outside my comfort zone. Most of all, I enjoy meeting new people and creating irreplaceable memories which is why I’m so excited about the Erasmus experience. My favorite subjects at school are Polish, history and chemistry. My hobbies are scouting, collecting vinyl records, sketching (just trying), meeting with my friends and try to create as many good memories as possible for my older self.

At Erasmus project I’m planning to know better my exchange partners and share my life experience and my routine with them. We took part in environmental workshops together, which encouraged integration and the exchange of ideas. We used Padlet as a tool, working in international groups. The main topic focused on actions supporting environmental protection. There were also language activities – we improved both our English and German through practice and direct interaction.

After the educational part, it was time for lunch and exploring the city. A walk through the centre of Prague allowed us to experience the unique atmosphere of this beautiful place.

Our eco-friendly mobility is also worth mentioning 💚. We used sustainable means of transport, such as buses 🚌 and the metro 🚇, which was not only convenient but also environmentally friendly.

The whole day was filled with a warm and friendly atmosphere, full of smiles, openness, and new experiences. We are already looking forward to the next days of this amazing adventure!

We also highlighted barriers that can hinder implementing change, such as costs, habits, and various organizational challenges. An additional task was to prepare advice for world leaders that would help them better protect the environment.

The workshop helped us to understand that changes in this area are necessary, but implementing them can be challenging.

We also prepared a poster with ideas on how to reduce the negative impact of transport. In addition, we discussed barriers to change, habits, and organizational difficulties.

The workshops were both interesting and educational, and they showed us that change is necessary, even if it can be challenging to implement.

We also identified the main barriers that can make these changes difficult to introduce.

The workshops helped us understand that although changes in this area are necessary, putting them into practice can be complicated and challenging.

While exploring the Old Town, including the Charles Bridge and the Old Town Square in Prague, the Czech group prepared tasks for us, which we completed in international teams 🇵🇱🤝🇨🇿

Short, intensive, and very inspiring 😎

The workshops became an excellent starting point for further reflection, which was deepened by a visit to the Signal Space Museum. The modern exhibition encouraged participants to ask important questions about the relationship between humans and the universe, and about how our actions affect not only our immediate surroundings, but also the future of the world of which we are a part.

It was a day full of knowledge, cooperation, and inspiration for responsible action. 🌍

We have already started the change since we used public transport and we gained knowledge about the enviroment.

We work on a project-based approach and have achieved 19th place along with a Certificate in the national "Zwolnieni z Teorii" Olympiad. For many years, we have participated in eTwinning projects, earning three Quality Labels.

We organize various initiatives, including blood donation campaigns and ecological actions. Our school holds the titles "School with Class" and "School of Cooperation", as well as the World Talks 2015 Certificate.

Our flight attendant classes, under the patronage of LOT Airlines, follow an original curriculum and actively collaborate with the Euroweek Foundation, as well as participate in eTwinning projects to explore the cultures and traditions of different countries.

We are currently implementing a KA210-SCH Small-Scale Partnership project with a school in Italy.

We also honor the memory of Czesław Tański, a painter and aviation pioneer in Poland, who is the patron of our school. In 2018, we received the Czesław Tański Medal, awarded by the Polish Aero Club.

We apply innovative teaching methods and formative assessment.

Křesťanské Gymnázium is a secondary school in Prague that combines general education with Christian values. The school places a strong emphasis on foreign languages, international cooperation and student development.

It has extensive experience in Erasmus+ projects and international mobility, giving students opportunities to meet peers from other countries, improve their English and develop intercultural skills.

Our mobility was a great opportunity to learn from each other, work together and discover new approaches to environmental protection and sustainable development.

The fifth day of our Erasmus+ mobility in Prague once again proved that education knows no borders. Working in international teams, we focused on the graphic design of the English version of our e-book and added new materials to the Padlet, developing our language and digital competences. Thanks to the school tablets, our cooperation was smooth, modern and effective.

Another important part of the day was taking part in the school’s Majáles Festival and visiting an interactive exhibition dedicated to marine biology. The exhibition highlighted, in an inspiring way, the beauty of the marine environment and the importance of protecting it.

It was a day full of learning, integration and the true spirit of European cooperation.

We started the day with a special certificate ceremony, officially confirming the completion of our Erasmus+ mobility. It was a memorable moment filled with pride, reflection and happiness about everything we had experienced, learned and discovered during our stay.

Then came the time to say goodbye… which was not easy, as we had become truly close to the students from our partner school. There were smiles, hugs and promises that this was not the end of our friendships, but rather a new beginning.

We spent the rest of the day discovering the charms of Prague. A guided tour allowed us to learn more about the history and unique atmosphere of this amazing city. We also had some time for entertainment and visited Madame Tussauds, where we could “meet” many famous figures.

There was also time for some shopping and souvenirs that will remind us of these special moments, as well as a shared dinner where we could enjoy each other’s company one more time.

And finally… packing. We were a little tired, but above all, happy and full of memories that will stay with us for a long time.

Today, after breakfast, we checked out of the hotel and, keeping our commitment to environmentally friendly travel, took the metro to the train station. From there, we are travelling directly back to Warsaw by train. The journey is going smoothly, giving us time to reflect on everything that happened over the past few days.

We are returning with our heads full of positive experiences, new knowledge and, most importantly, new friendships and strong international relationships. Erasmus+ has once again shown us how much we can learn beyond the traditional classroom.

The most important thing? We are all returning safe, healthy and smiling! 😊

Now we are looking forward to welcoming the students from our partner school in Prague during their return visit. We hope to show them our everyday life and our school just as well as they showed us theirs.

It has truly been an amazing experience!

The skills they acquired are important not only for international communication but also for preparing for the Matura examination. Greater fluency, a wider vocabulary and overcoming the language barrier can positively contribute to students’ preparation for the English exam.

Particularly noticeable progress can be observed in the case of one final-year student, whose previous results were around 80%, while in the oral Matura examination he achieved 100%. This result represents a significant improvement in his level of language proficiency and demonstrates the development of his English communication skills.
