I chose this video because of how valuable I believe the information inside is. This video gives in depth information on how to take good notes and even has tips throughout on how to avoid common mistakes or problems people run into. The creator of the video says things like how he chooses to read in the morning because he feel smore focused. He also says that he will get up and pace or even sit on the floor of his office just to try and maintain his focus on the book. He also has various methods of marking up the text. One of the biggest things he talks about is synthesizing. This is when you go out and find/do something that is in the text so you can have a better understanding of it.

This video goes over all the ways to use flash cards. I really like the information in the video because it is very informative and takes a different approach than most. Instead of just being a video that says, "Use flash cards they're good for memorization", the video goes into detail about how you should make your flashcards. The creator says that pictures especially hand drawn are best for memory recollection. He also says that the weirder and more creative the flashcards are the better you will be able to recall the information. The flashcards also need to be something that relates to you. This ties in with the drawing. By having a hand drawn illustration to go along with words on your flashcard that are about something you either know about or are fond of it will create stronger neural ties to that topic/thing in turn making it much more easy to remember.

Final exams are something I think everybody worries about. This video however gives a perfect run down of how you can prepare for your finals. He says that you should figure out what times you finals are and also how you are doing in each class. He says that for a class you have an A in you probably shouldn't worry as much about studying for as one you have a lower grade in. These two factor together will allow you to figure out which classes you need to prioritize and spend more time studying on. He then goes on to build a schedule using a method derived by the same person who created the Cornell note system. This schedule is really just a super detailed version of your normal schedule and includes things like small tasks and mealtimes.
