         <description><![CDATA[<div>Adding ammonia (windex) to our sodium bicarbonate solution showed that the rate of photosynthesis for the spinach leaves increased. Compared to the control group, the disks started floating faster than theirs, but in the end we had less disks float to the top. After 2 minutes, we had spinach disks start floating, while the control group’s spinach disks didn’t start floating until after 6 minutes. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Materials:&nbsp;</div><div>One hole puncher, 3 plant leafs, soap detergent, windex, one 300ml beaker, three 100ml beakers.</div><ol><li>Punch out 30 leaf dots making sure to not use the root of the leaf.</li><li>Place ten leaf pieces in each syringe.&nbsp;</li><li>Create a solution of sodium bicarbonate with soap, water, one drop of windex in the 300ml beaker and add it to the three syringes.</li><li>Remove oxygen from the syringes and create a vacuum within the syringe by using your finger to cover the syringe and then pull the plunger. Repeat this process until all leafs fall to the bottom of the syringe.</li><li>After this place each set of leafs into their own solution of sodium bicarbonate in an 100ml beaker and place under light.</li><li>Record how many leafs begin floating during one minute intervals.</li><li>Compare your results to the control group.</li></ol>]]></description>
