I am incredibly grateful for the scholarship and funding I have received, as it has been a tremendous motivator for me to keep dreaming and achieving. I believe that my time at UAlbany, particularly at the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy, will be life-changing. It will equip me with the knowledge and skills necessary to make a meaningful impact on the people I serve, both in [the community where I grew up in] Malawi and beyond.

Receiving this scholarship will greatly support my education as an Accounting major with a minor in Business Administration at UAlbany. It will help relieve some financial challenges of pursuing my degree and allow me to stay focused on my academic and professional development. After graduating, I plan to build a career in corporate accounting where I can apply both my accounting expertise and business knowledge to make meaningful financial decisions.

Thank you so much for your support! This scholarship helps me achieve my goal because as a first generation student aspiring to become a physician, that process can be costly. However with scholarships I can focus on my dream rather than the cost of it.

I plan to go to graduate school and this scholarship is allowing me to save money now so that I can leave UAlbany in a financial position that allows me to do so. I am incredibly grateful for your donation and all of the doors it will help open for me.

My dream job is to own a small business and be able to turn it into a company. I think this scholarship will help me be able to start on my goal right after college and hopefully have no debt along with meeting all the very qualified professors here who have done so well in the business world who have great connections. Thank you so much for helping to make my dream possible.

I'm super appreciative that I've been given this assistance because I've been loving my time at UAlbany. I'm still figuring out what I want to devote all my time to but I've been trying so many new things and opening so many doors that I can really see helping me enjoy school and help after graduation, so thank you!

I want you to know that I am so grateful and absolutely honored for receiving your scholarship and it’s an honor or I don’t take lightly. It will help me not worry about financing my goals and focus more on achieving them. I want to work in a marketing firm when after graduation so this will help me focus on getting there.
