Personally to block out all of the hatred in the world I have become a part of the local baseball community to get my mind off of everything that is going on in the world. This soft skill can be seen as being a weakness for me because I feel like when I am in a rough patch of time I feel as though I am the only person that is able to take care of the situation. If I try to share my situation I feel as though that people may not fully understand my situation and won't be able to give me the help that I need. This could affect my college life because having a strong support person helps get through the rough times in life which is more apparent during college rather than high school. In order to develop this skill I have been more open with people in the past few months and it has partially helped me with hard times that I have had.
