Students are also able to watch a video and write their thoughts, key in on the main idea and answer comprehension questions.

There are an abundant amount of resources that Canvas offers such as modules to post assignments, discussions, quizzes, pages of videos, collaborate with peers, conferences and divide into groups. There is a speed grader and grade book embedded as well along with a calendar and a place for a syllabus. Canvas for elementary school teachers is very user friendly where students can find things in one place based on the subject they are working in. It gives them their course work, a place to view their schedule, a place to located their grades, and where they can find all the resources in their modules. I think Canvas will be an essential tool used in our classroom and students will enjoy working with it.
