Our Senior trainer also taught us more about the booking process and what to do after the ticketing step. We were taught about the whole Booking process from start to finish which consist of around 5 steps which i written down as it is VITAL for me it the future to remember it as 1 wrong step could step devastation for me, the customer and the company.

Heavy emphasis is put on ME(by me) remembering THE WHOLE PROCESS correctly as it is the real deal now and i need to remember the essence of being QUICK and ACCURATE.

During the end of my shift, we were taught more about how to identify the different fare classes by deciphering the codes in the Amadeus system, and we were taught about the different models of planes used in the Aviation industry as i had heard stories and cases about customers sometimes requesting specific type of airplane models on their flights only

The process is also quite long and complex and i will need to refer to my notes and memorize it further as for now i still need to refer to the notes to be sure i am doing the process correctly instead of hastily.

We were also taught on how to print the booking prices that may be required by other members of the workplace as they will sometimes require the prices of the trip first in order to make an informed decision.

I was also given my 1st actual customer booking in which i helped a customer to actually booked a real trip and i will need to contact and do minor customer relationship management like asking the customer about their booking information is correct and such, i will need to do the Ticketing tomorrow.

I was also hit with what i think is the hardest challenge yet which is to book a complicated trip (For Me), and it was complicated as there was a lot of variables and stuff that it would take a great time to explain here so the tl;dr version of it is that the booking Time is a complicated ball to juggle.

Air. to KLIA

Around 3pm? If i remember correctly, it was around that time where we were given a test of trying to book 20 test flights from different locations to another and to do it in an accurate manner. Finally a chance to really get a feel of using the Amadeus for booking even though it was only a mock exam.

The day ended after i was already done with the 20 flights given and was going over it by checking them back in the Amadeus system by referring back to the PNR of the flights booking. The rest of the time i was again memorizing the Airline and Airport codes to the best of my abilities and checking the notes i have written down before.

BUT, the training and trials given by the senior handling our training was adequate and she always answers our questions given it was not too dumb or something she had said before.

Day 3 consist mainly of our Senior teaching us about the Amadeus System and the command prompts we will be using for the booking process in the future.

The Amadeus command style is vastly easier when compared to programming but that doesn't mean it was very easy because as i can see from the Seniors they use it in a speed that is very fast and they knows the Ins and Outs of the system very well.

We mainly tried to familiarize ourselves with the Amadeus System so we may one day be ready for the real booking process. We were also given a few copies of the command list for the Amadeus system by our Seniors and a lot of notes were taken for the usual process and some outlier cases if there was a need to

In short, he says we should do things quick while also being accurate in the sense that we did not input anything incorrectly like customer info and what not.

We were also told later by our senior trainer to think like the customer when doing bookings in the Amadeus system in the future for customers. If there is something that is illogical or you as a consumer would not want to receive or feel, Would you then do the same thing to the customer? The answer is No and we should always think at the angle of the customer.
