The reason I chose the polar bear is because I knew that I wanted to incorporate its fur in some way because I figured it would keep me warm. Another reason I selected a polar bear is because polar bears live in the Arctic which is much colder than a classroom. I couldn't wait to research their adaptations and see how I can be like a polar bear and keep warm in the cold classroom.
