         <description><![CDATA[<div>The benefits for the government putting it's information online would include; easier access to statistics for the public, giving them a reliable source for their data. Another benefit can be ease of access for services that are available to the people from online.<br>Doing this can also be cost effective for the government allowing them to use resources elsewhere, in other manners the efficiency of the system is also improved as the regional government would be trying to move from traditional methods of using paper forms. Putting government related information online would lead to secret government agendas being used to persuade the users to go against the government and change the publics opinion. The reliability of the information presented would also be in question as online information could easily be edited and this could lead to false informations being spread. Hackers could also hijack the government website and steal the information and use it for the wrong reasons. Another drawback would be the inaccessibility. The government information would only be visible to users who have the access internet and this would make the people who don't have access to the web left out as they cant view the information. Improve digital literacy &amp; affordability</strong><br>Governments should act by developing and utilizing state tools in order to enhance availability, encourage and educate the usage of ICT, and support the development of ICT skills. The government can tackle financial and legal barriers (tariffs, taxes, etc. that contribute to high pricing) that prevent incentives towards objectives concerning technology.<br><br>The provision of suitable e-services and the promotion of digital literacy should become a security matter and a top priority for Governments, in order to ensure their country or region a place in the future knowledge based society.<br><br><strong>2. Develop improved infrastructure</strong><br>In order for citizens to have a wider access to online services, the government must work towards investing in not only availability to literacy services, but also the physical platforms that allow good service and operation. Poor infrastructure will indicate a low internet connectivity and restrict the access citizens have to online resources.<br><br><strong>3. Formulating awareness policies</strong><br>In terms of computer fraud, many users/citizens become hesitant to take advantage of services such as retail and banking.
