There are many different ways how to start a project. For me it is always an idea. Something that catches my attention and makes me probe deeper. Then thinking about the activities and visits that would be exciting and engaging. The bigger - the better! At the same time looking for partners from the countries I would like to visit 😎
It is very important to remember that there is nothing wrong adding personal wishes to a project! They will help you to stay engaged and motivated. Your colleages and students will feel your passion and energy and will follow you.
To make the project successful - you need to make it personal! Own it and enjoy the journey 🤩

Today, we were able to experience the heritage of nature close to the "Pointe de Chateau". The rocks, which protrude there impressively out of the sea and the water, which strikes against it in high waves. Nature gives us wonderful places and things that we cannot design with our technology nearly as beautiful and multifaceted. While preparing the lunch together, we got to know the intangible and tangible heritage of Creole cuisine. The way of preparation and the handling of the ingredients we were introduced to a piece of food culture.Even the way of having lunch together is very special and should be carried on by the following generations, because it is an important part of family tradition and life.
The tangible cultural heritage, the ingredients that we feel, smell and taste, and therefore enjoy with all our senses, and the food that was finally made, rounded off this experience.
To preserve and pass on the heritage of our own culture, be it tangible, intangible or natural cultural heritage, this should be our job as a teacher to reach as many people as possible. This can certainly be done in the form of projects but can always be brought into the classroom.

We started the day at a beautiful point where we were filled with positive energy: a beautiful view, all around the sea, the sounds of the waves, the singing of birds, the view of the rocks in the sea are just some of the things which nature has given us. Nature enables life to exist, and we must treat it with respect and responsibility. As a teacher, I am aware of this and pass it on to younger generations.

I realized that I take too little time for myself, so I decided to find the moretime to spend time in nature and with myself in the future. Nature fills us with energy and the result is that we can do our jobs better and faster.

Today, nature has not only filled us with positive energy, but also filled our stomachs too. We to prepared a BBQ lunch together. They introduced us to Creole cuisine, preparation method, herbs and flavors. It was an amazing experience.

This is an example of good practice for how we can combine enjoyable and rewarding.

Today we went to the eastern part of Guadeloupe and visiteted the enchanting wild nature at Pointe de chateaux. We have discused about many things and topics which we were involved in this week. I have learned a lot about how to start with an international project, how to prepare it and what you have to pay attention to. Later in the evening three paticipants from different country started to plan our internetional project. We have already managed to find the topic and start with some serious plans. That is what our coordinator of this course Rita has encourage us those last days.

Internationalising of te world is extremely quick and children and students are not always prepared on it in a right way. I think it shoud be done mostly through the real experience and not on internet. We are we are social beings who need genuine human contact. At the same time, we need to take care of tending to the tradition and transferring elements of cultural heritage into the future.

Humanity spends a lot of money to create things we find beautiful and we have really succeeded. There are so many buildings, pieces of art (literature, music, dance, paintings …) and so on that we spend a lot of money to buy or just to watch.

But whatever we create it is impossible to compete with someone who can create sounds, views and things that is more beautiful – the nature. I was reminded of this yesterday. All the wonderful views of the coastline, the islands, the shells (thank’s again Rita!), the coconuts and animals; the sounds of the water, the birds and the frogs – all this for free! Right in front of us.

Even though we had to pay for getting to this Paradise island, I am sure that we can find the similar natural experiences even in Germany, Slovenia, Sweden and Italy. So I will really try to appreciate the wonders of nature more at home, but there will absolutely be opportunities to see man-created culture as well.

My last words will be that maybe the most beautiful things the ever can be seen is something we all have created during this days – friendship. Thank you all for these weeks and I will miss you all <3
