These posts represent the #NoMore campaign on Twitter which represents social recognition in the way that it’s recognizing the stories of those who are abused at home and who suffer domestic violence, mainly women. Many times, the system fails to recognize these cases which creates negative consequences for the person abused whose voice is not heard and whose story is not told. Social recognition is shown when there’s an acknowledgement or respect toward others and the possibility of having access to justice, in this case, being heard. This relates to the theory of Axel Honneth, which expresses that recognition identifies three spheres of interaction. In this case, love is expressed in the way that a community is created to talk about the abusive and emotional behaviour of its own experience to feel protected and to create a space where everyone feels heard and loved. In terms of rights, by being able to share their story, they can foster social and legal inclusion and in terms of solidarity, the person who is abused encouraged to express themselve and be seen as empowered than submissive, being able to speak and be recognized for their strength and not blinded by their fear to to raise the self esteem that was bludgeoned by the blows of domestic violence. If abused people, or women who are mostly the ones abused are not recognized, injustice occurs which provides motives for political and social struggles (Heidegren, 2004).

These posts fight for the social recognition of indigenous communities and they show the binary relation between recognition and redistribution. In this case, the posts aim to not only recognize the indigenous communities but also recognize their work and consider it for what it is, recognize the effort and the economic justice it deserves. This is a group that since colonial times, have been thought of as being part of the lower scale of the hierarchy which creates a cultural and economical injustice. According to Nancy Fraser, these two injustices are linked which is why the posts try to demand for economic equality and recognize their work while trying to culturally recognize them and decrease the discrimination towards them for the fulfillment of human rights. Indigenous communities are seen as others, they live in a position of oppression because historically, the society conceived ideas that they are worth less which has caused social misrecognition and marginalization as Fraser explains. As said before, these posts offer a critical view to these thoughts in order to include and recognize them as an important part of culture and society.

These posts about women empowerment can connect with Charle’s Taylor approach to recognition, the politics of recognition. These posts are trying to make women feel recognized given the fact that historically they have been seen as the non-dominant group and trying to build up their self esteem. He expresses the importance of political differences to recognize minority’s rights, in this case, women’s rights.

According to Charles Taylor's approach, the backbone of social recognition relies on multiculturalism and the way we experience it through our dialogue and relationships. The post shares that a transwoman received an important award concerning the Jogamma heritage for the first time in India, which is remarkable because it is not so often that this kind of things happen on a country which international news share more often than not quite the opposite. Also, the fact that the award was given for a cultural matter, set the path for more recognition and inclusion even within the framework of culturalism and traditions.

The issue with immigration is that it concerns a great number of political, social, and economic spheres. It is not easy to make agreements among countries to deal with this problem, but something is clear: every person deserves the same rights as everyone else. And in this terms, Axel Honneth has some words for us: recognition is key for the benefit and correct development of our society, and it implies the following: love, rights, and solidarity.
When traveling through a foreign country, immigrants face an escalating number of problems: from the lack of recognition of their basic Human Rights, to constant discrimination. In Mexico, NGO's has been for long time the best supporters of immigrants for fighting this issue, and making their travel as safe as possible.

The balance of Justice between recognition and redistribution

Having a disability should never be a matter of discrimination or lack of access to opportunities. The post shared here points out the assistance that an organization has been delivering in order to ensure a healthy development in children. As discussed in other posts, recognition of their integrity is key in this context, as it ensures (or at least makes plausible) the presence of justice. Here, the contributions of Nancy Fraser make it possible to us to talk about economic factors concerning this issue. Since disability often implies the need of medical assistance it makes clear the point of redistribution of resources in Fraser's theory. Donations and humanitarian aid are both thus vital in order to fully tackle social problems like this one.
