I believe that of the Ten Commandments of Computer Ethics, students most frequently violate the eighth commandment. Specifically, with modern day technology and the up bringing of AI, many students abuse it, ignoring the importance of academic integrity. Especially with AI gathering it's information from other sources, making students appropriate other's work.

individuals violate these commandments because they are either not aware of them or they are too lazy to abide by them. Many individuals lack the confidence or motivation to create their own paper or to purchasing software or apps, leading to violations like using pirating websites or asking AI to create their paper. I also believe individuals who believe they lack time, money, or care, break these violations as it's a easy route for them to complete what the need.

To reduce such unethical behavior, we should spread awareness of these commandments, specifically through social media. Using your own platform and voice to advocate the importance of these rules. Additionally, posters with images and statistics of the consequences of breaking these commandments can reinforce the importance of following these commandments. With social media taking over the world, the bets way to spread important information is by going where people spend most of their time, like Tiktok, Instagram, and Facebook. Creating videos, posts, and stories helps raise awareness among individuals. Ultimately, advocating to take down websites that illegally stream shows form paid sources, and AI websites that take other's work without permission, can create less access for individuals to cause these unethical behaviors.
