Pear to pear learning is an important technique in day-to-day activities life and it mostly helps doing assign duties in the workstations smoothly. As a question arise regarding his employment most people used to get independent solution to solve it. However, if he is accustomed to ask from other experts in the field, the solution becomes interdependent (Boud, 1988, cited in Boud, 2001), and most of the time it would be a great solution. Students in many countries use P2P learning by explaining own idea to the peers and they collaboratively get feedback from others (Boud, 2001). In the P2P learning, we need to understand that who are peers? Boud (2001) explain that people who are expertise with considerable knowledge as well as experience, and importantly, they should not have power over each other according to their position or obligation. Abdullah and Chan, (2018) state that peer to peer learning helps students to
personal development including gain socialization, improving self-confidence
and effective interaction with others. Furthermore, authors describe that peer
learning contribute to professional development encompassing creating effective
teamwork, improving cognitive skills, and significantly, developing leadership
skills.

Pear to pear learning is also essential in leadership development. Why Peer Learning Is Crucial for Leadership Development (2022) states that leaders can create a good collective leadership culture and they can practice skills in a safe space. Similarly, Ford et al., (2015) describe that peer learning helps leaders to develop their leadership skills, effective communication with each other, working ability with different cultures, and especially contribute to develop their self-confidence due to positive feedback from peers. Organizational leaders need to accomplish different kinds of projects and their leadership role is vital in project success. Hsiao, McSorley and Taylor, (2017) indicate that peer learning helps to
develop success teams which leads to achieving project goals and it contributes
to strengthening leader-follower commitment. Knowledge management in the
organization is an essential leadership role in the cognitive era. Generally,
leaders transfer tacit knowledge to their team members through peer-to-peer
interaction and through leader-follower relationship (Connelly et al., 2016,
cited in Fuller, 2021).
Therefore, it is essential for leaders to develop a strong teamwork culture in
workplaces to get maximum output from peer-to-peer learning among team members.

Most of the time I have been using peer-to-peer learning techniques to solve my duty related issues and improve my knowledge on different areas which need leadership development. Particularly, when I needed to get a critical work-related decision, I made discussions with my peers. Mostly, they are experts in relevant fields and sometimes they are aliens to the topic. Although Boud (2001) argues that peers need experts in the given field of knowledge, both these groups improve my decision-making power to analyze the issue subject wise critically as well as just looking at it in general. Both views are important, especially, making decisions regarding public matters. I have several experiences regarding gaps of existing law to make organizational decisions. Especially in these circumstances, peer-to-peer learning assisted me to make decisions which decision affecting parties mostly agreed and resonated with the legal framework. Last week I needed to improve my knowledge on the “shape of leadership which is required to perform future businesses”. I had discussion with several peers, and they gave me a broad knowledge on this topic.
Boud (2001) states that peers need to expertise in the field, and similarly, I selected peers are leaders in different levels of public sector and private sector. In addition, author further indicates that selected peers should not have power over each other. My interviewed group members are not followers or senior managers in my organization.
